Louise,
Thank you so much for the kind words! Where did you ever find that photograph from the fabulous party you gave me in 1980 when I left the Maryland Historical Trust to be the Executive Director of the Society for the Preservation of Maryland Antiquities? It was a great party, everyone came as their favorite preservationist. What happened to the picture of you?

Luckily, the recent fire in the Cambridge historic district did not do more damage, BUT we should NOT rely on LUCK, AND Preservation Maryland is largely to at fault for NOT providing data to readers and the public on what can be done simply and inexpensively to reduce the Fire risk.
I started Crestline over 20 years ago, and have worked provided materials to protect structures from James Madison's home in Virginia to the Reagan Ranch in California and from covered bridges in Maine to the Aquarium in Miami. Some structures in Maryland have also used materials as have buildings in India, Alaska and Canada. Crestline has participated in Preservation conferences in several cities, BUT Preservation Maryland ignores what can be done and NEVER relates the facts! We are NOT looking for free publicity, but rather want to HELP preserve -- The agenda of Preservation Maryland is NOT at all clear!
